Mental health support

here are a range of services that are available to support the mental health and wellbeing of people in Gloucestershire, particularly during the current challenges faced in the COVID-19 pandemic and in light of the announcement about a second lockdown.

Qwell

An online mental health and wellbeing support platform which offers anyone aged 18 years and above access to free online counselling and self-care resources. It is open to anyone experiencing issues with their emotional wellbeing, such as stress or anxiety and there is no need to be referred.

Kooth

An online mental health and wellbeing support platform for anyone aged between 11 and 18 years, with access to free online counselling and self-care resources. This too is open to any young person experiencing issues with their emotional wellbeing, such as stress or anxiety and there is no need to be referred.

TIC+ Chat

In addition to their existing counselling support for young people, TIC+ have launched a new anonymous helpline for young people aged 9-21 years called TIC+ Chat. TIC+ also run a helpline to support the parents and carers of young people who are struggling with their mental health.
