Accessing Care at Sixways Clinic

We are now in our second lockdown of the year and wish to ensure that we can continue to provide safe care for all of our patients. Should you require care we will continue to offer a telephone appointment with a clinician in the first instance. Patients will then be assessed and should the clinician feel a face to face appointment is required they will arrange this.

Our nurses are continuing to offer a full service of pre booked appointments for wound care, vaccinations, cervical cytology and baby immunisations.

Please only attend the surgery if you have a pre booked appointment. If you have any queries, or require blood test results etc. please call us or use the eConsult option on the website.

We would like to remind all patients that should they have any symptoms of Covid 19 or have had a positive Covid 19 test result within 14 days they must NOT attend the surgery unless specifically requested by a clinician. Symptoms could include:

  • a high temperature – this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature)
  • a new, continuous cough – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual)
  • a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste – this means you’ve noticed you cannot smell or taste anything, or things smell or taste different to normal

Please see more details on the NHS website: Covid-19 symptoms.
