If you require any vaccinations relating to foreign travel, you need to make an appointment with the practice nurse to discuss your travel arrangements. This will include which countries and areas within them that you are planning to visit to determine what vaccinations are required.
It is important to make this initial appointment as early as possible – at least 8 weeks before you travel – as a second appointment will be required with the practice nurse to actually receive the vaccinations. These vaccines have to be ordered as they are not a stock vaccine. Your second appointment needs to be at least 2 weeks before you travel to allow the vaccine to work.
Some travel vaccines are ordered on a private prescription and these incur a charge over and above the normal prescription charge. This is because not all travel vaccinations are included in the services provided by the NHS.
Please visit our Travel Room for more information.
This service is not available to non-registered patients.
Our joint injections service is held by either Dr D Evans, Dr B Boxall or D M Ubhi. Please book a routine appointment with your doctor and if appropriate you will then be booked for the clinic.
Our minor surgery clinics are held on Wednesday morning by our advanced nurse practitioner; Lydia Pasqualin. We also have doctor led clinics for more complex patients with Dr B Boxall. Please book a routine appointment and if appropriate you will then be booked for the clinic.
Run by Nurse Hannah Forrester and Dr M Ubhi.
Contraceptive coil clinics are held on Wednesdays. Contraceptive implant appointments are dealt with by our qualified practice nurse.
Patients who have an issue with ear wax will receive an appropriate referral from the GP to access treatment via the most appropriate route.
